In this course we will learn ancient awareness techniques to deepen ones daily living. These techniques when consistently applied give birth to a very natural and spontaneous awakening within the different superior dimensions of nature. Though these dimensions are always present they are rarely consciously experienced.
This course includes methods of dream recall and interpretation which can unlock a beautiful source of untapped knowledge about oneself and the world with which we live.
We will also be practicing different mystical exercises to help us understand the difference between Lucid Dreaming and true Astral Travel, where one can leave behind the life of Dreams and enter into a Real World and converse with its inhabitants.
Personal Transformation Through Gnostic Wisdom
Wednesdays at 7 pm
Lake City/North Seattle: 2427 NE 143rd St (southwest corner of NE 143rd St. and 25th Ave. NE)
Explore the timeless teachings of Gnosis, direct experiential knowledge of the self and of the divine. This ongoing series serves as a thorough introduction to Gnostic Psychology and the Gnostic path of self-realization including meditation, mindfulness, kabbalah, alchemy, astral and dream exploration, the law of karma, the universal mind, the chakras, transformation and purification of energy, transforming impressions and negative emotions, and more. Classes include lecture, discussion, meditation and mindfulness practices, and suggested "homework" reading and practices.
Fundamentally, this series of classes will help you to understand, from a Gnostic perspective, what is self-realization and what is your path; who are you as a body, a psychological structure, a consciousness, a spirit, and a soul; what is your relationship with karma; what is essence and what is ego; how to positively work with your chakras and energy; how is the kabbalah/tree of life a map of your own soul and path; how to explore your own psyche and thus better understand yourself and your world; relaxation and opening of heart and mind.
This Wednesday night series is ongoing and each class stands alone such that the class is always open to newcomers, though progressive attendance does build understanding and practice within the Gnostic teachings. Also, at times we offer 6 to 8 week courses on Wednesdays instead of the ongoing series of classes and after the first 2 classes of a course attendance is closed until the end of the course. If you are attending for the first time or if you attend irregularly please contact us to make sure that class is being held and that attendance is open. Thank you and we hope to see you soon.
The Marvelous World of the Chakras
Integrating Spirit & Matter
This class is over but we will offer it again in the future.
At the point where Western Science meets Eastern Philosophy, within the micro-laboratory of the human endocrine system, we find the marvelous world of the Chakras. These Mystical wheels of Light which have been spoken of in many traditions, under various names, are continually integrating Spirit and Matter through the transformation of energy from the grossest to the most subtle.
This will be an intensive seven week course. We will delve deeply into this esoteric topic with many practical methods to work with these magnetic centers. In addition, we will learn ancient Yogic techniques for the positive awakening of that magical force known as Kundalini.
As well as enriching one’s spiritual life, these teachings will also reveal age-old practices that can nourish and extend one’s physical life.
This course is given at no set charge, but a $5-10 donation per class is deeply appreciated.
Kabbalah
This class is over but we will offer it again in the future.
We can find all sorts of books in bookstores about Traditional Kabbalah, related to the mysticism of Judaism, but we seldom find books about Initiatic Kabbalah (Gnostic Kabbalah). Initiatic Kabbalah is related to the path of Self-realization, and deals with the importance of awakening Consciousness and of entering into Initiation.
The term "Self-realization" implies the understanding of a special type of knowledge, self-knowledge.
Knowledge in Greek = Gnosis.
Knowledge in Hebrew = Daath.
Genesis is a Gnostic Book that refers to the mysteries of Daath, indicating two trees that were in Eden.
The first Tree is Gnosis, Daath, the Tree of Knowledge (the Science of Good and Evil): Alchemy (the Chemistry of God.)
Daath, the Tree of Knowledge, is hidden within the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is the second Tree.
The Tree of Life symbolizes the different parts of the Being (the Spirit of God with in each individual): 10 Sephiroth, coming out from the nothingness, (Sephirah: sapphire/ jewel). These are 10 emanations from the Unknowable Source.
To enter in any Sephiroth and enjoy its fruit we need the mystery of Daath (the Tree of Knowledge), Gnosis. This is not intellectual but rather is related to the creative potency of the Tree.
In genuine Gnosis, there must be the study and understanding of the two trees together.
Join as we enter into a deep study of these two trees, in theory and more importantly practice. Their true understanding can take us far beyond our wildest imagination.

Gnostic Mysteries of Christmas
This class is over but we will offer it again in the future.
Explore the ancient science, art and wisdom of the Alchemists of the west and Tantrics of the east. The ancient and long-revered tradition of Tantrism is synonymous with the true heart of Western Alchemy. Both seek to transform the initiated student into the ultimate fulfillment of human existence: a purified soul, marked by the spontaneous expression of pure and selfless compassion.
Alchemy:
Al (Arabic, as in Allah) means "God." Also El (Hebrew) for "God." Chem or Khem is from kimia (Greek) which means "to fuse or cast a metal." Also from Khem, the ancient name of Egypt. The synthesis is therefore Al-Kimia: "to fuse with God."
Tantra:
Sanskrit for "continuum" or "unbroken stream." This refers first (1) to the continuum of vital energy that sustains all existence, and second (2) to the class of knowledge and practices that harnesses that vital energy, thereby transforming the practitioner.
This science was known and practiced by the ancient esoteric Egyptians, Aztecs, Mayans, Chaldeans, Greeks, Tibetans, Indians, Zen and Chan Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Sufis, and many, many more. Both the Western branch (Alchemy) and the Eastern branch (Tantrism) of this ancient science have been fractured into many variations and movements. The pure ones have generally gone underground due to intense persecution. In their wake there have appeared many degenerated sects of who sought only to feed their desires.
The alchemical Gnostic teachings have been held sacred and, up until the 20th century, were held secret. The time has arrived for this knowledge to be given openly again. With a balanced approach involving esoteric psychology, meditation, study, and practice we engage in these ancient teachings in order to realize their goal: transformation of ourselves into symbolic gold which refers to the virtues of the soul. This course also involves the study of the Initiatic Kabbalah, the map of the self-realization of the Being.
This course is appropriate for singles as well as couples. Ultimately, alchemy and tantra are realized in relationship between man and woman, however vast work is realized by the single individual. Also, the course is fairly introductory, as deeper alchemical work will take more than one course to study, especially since the Gnostic studies are approached in a balanced way as opposed to unrealistic or unbalanced promises of quick awakenings or instant transformations. The format of this course is a classroom setting with a lecture including images/art, a brief meditation practice, and a period for questions and discussion. We will suggest "homework" that will consist of meditation practices and mindfulness/self-awareness building practices based on Gnostic psychology. In terms of specific energy work or alchemical/tantric work for couples, we will merely introduce these concepts in discussion/lecture format.
Halloween
Myth, Mystery, and Origin
This class is over but we will be offering it again in the future.
The religious and cultural holidays that we observe in the present day often have very deep and mystical roots that can even date back to prehistory; to a time when the ceremonies and rituals were very much connected to natural laws and cycles that revealed the presence of the Divine within daily life.
Halloween is such a day. In the past this time of the year was held sacred in that it represented a movement from the exterior warmth, growth, and production of the summer months toward the interior reflection and search for warmth inside one’s own self, through one’s family and home.
We will be looking at the connection between death and rebirth through the symbols and teachings of the Celts and their priestly cast, the Druids.

The Power of Attention
"Meditation is not a means to an end. It is both the means and the end." - Krishnamurti
Paying attention may sound like a very simple thing, but if we were to look at how our minds actually work, it becomes apparent that in fact, we pay attention much less than we might think.
"For the ordinary person, whose mind is a checkerboard of crisscrossing reflections, opinions, and prejudices, bare attention is virtually impossible; one's life is thus centered not on reality itself but their ideas about it." - Kapleau
Nearly all spiritual practices are based on this principle. In fact, whenever you think that you have lost the path, or feel confused by esoteric terminology, remember that all the different teachings and techniques are meant to explain various levels of attention and that the key to true understanding lies in that same power.
The highest wisdom is based on attention - as are all forms of spiritual practice - from the simplest to the most intricate. With the power of attention one begins to see things in a new light. From the simplicity of the breath, to the most complex mathematical equation, our surroundings begin to speak to us.
Meditation is simply a matter of directed attention.
When we pay attention, whatever we are doing - whether it be cooking, cleaning, or making love - is transformed into meditation and becomes part of our spiritual path. We begin to notice new details and textures to our life; moments become sharper, clearer, and at the same time more spacious.
